Story text
After a rain in Glimmer Forest, the rainbow is missing. Toot discovers that the rainbow's light bands cannot connect due to insufficient 'Joy Energy'. He organizes a forest laughter collection party, using the gathered laughter as magical energy to successfully repair the rainbow bridge, helping everyone understand that happiness multiplies when shared.

Glimmer Forest had just experienced a cool, refreshing rain. Sunlight peeked out from between the clouds, dancing on the little puddles. According to the forest's old tradition, this was the time when a shiny rainbow slide should appear in the sky! The little animals had hurried early to 'Look-Up Hill', the best spot to see the rainbow. But, everyone craned their necks and waited and waited. The sky, apart from a few leisurely white clouds, had nothing. Bunny Flopsy drooped her long ears: 'Is the rainbow sleeping in today?' Squirrel Chestnut, hugging his big tail, was also disappointed: 'I wanted to see if this year's rainbow had any new colors.'

Just then, a green figure came hopping along—it was Toot! His round eyes were like the brightest amber. 'What's wrong, everyone? You look like little mushrooms wilted by the sun.' Flopsy told Toot about the missing rainbow. Toot blinked: 'Don't worry, I'll go take a look! Maybe the rainbow just needs a little help.' He had a secret talent: he could see the fine, invisible 'magical cracks' on all things. Toot believed the rainbow might be sick.

Toot climbed the highest hill in the forest. He held his breath, focused his mind, and looked towards the patch of sky where the rainbow usually appeared. Slowly, he saw it! In the spot where the rainbow should have hung, seven colors of dim light points floated in the air—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. But they weren't connected into a beautiful arc. Instead, they drifted about like a broken string of pearls, with many tiny, shimmering black cracks between the light points. 'Aha! Found the problem,' Toot whispered, 'The rainbow's "light band connection points" have magical cracks, so it's "fallen apart."'

Toot slid down the tree and announced his discovery to his anxiously waiting friends: 'The rainbow isn't gone; its seven-colored light bands just can't connect! It's like... like each section of the slide is separate, so you can't play on it.' He scratched his head, wearing a thoughtful expression. 'I remember the ancient forest book said the rainbow bridge needs "Joy Energy" to take shape. After every rain, our happy laughter and gasps of wonder are its energy source. Has the forest been too quiet lately?'
