Story text
A curious little fox named Fox gets lost while searching for treasure in the forest. Using a strange stone (a magnet) from his toolkit that always points in the same direction, he observes and experiments to create a simple compass. Not only does he find his way, but he also draws a precious treasure map of the forest.

In the sparkling Sunshine Forest, lived a little fox named Fox. He had a magical all-purpose toolkit filled with all sorts of strange and wonderful things: glowing glass marbles, a retractable hook, colorful balls of yarn... Fox was full of curiosity about the world and always wanted to understand how everything worked. His most frequent question was: "Why?" Why do birds fly? Why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west? His friends in the forest called him "Little Question Mark Fox."

One day, Uncle Brown Bear mysteriously told everyone that deep in the ancient forest hid a "Starlight Treasure." It was said that finding it could grant a wonderful wish. However, the path to the treasure was winding and twisty, making it easy to get lost. The little squirrel, Hopper, bounced up and down saying, "We need a map!" Sister Deer nodded gracefully. Fox patted his toolkit, full of confidence: "Leave it to me! My toolkit has everything. We'll definitely find the way!"

The expedition set off! Fox walked at the front, his toolkit jingling. They crossed meadows full of wildflowers, passed over babbling streams, and entered the increasingly dense woods. At first, everyone was excitedly identifying special trees and rocks along the way as markers. But the forest grew thicker, the tall trees all started to look the same, and the sunlight was blocked by the thick canopy of leaves.

"Have we... been here before?" Sister Deer said uncertainly, looking at a familiar old tree with three forks. Little squirrel Hopper scratched his head: "I think I've seen this crooked-neck tree three times!" Fox quickly opened his toolkit and rummaged: "Don't worry, let me see if there's a map..." But he turned the bag inside out, finding a magnifying glass, a small hammer, some rope—just no map. Their hearts sank a little—they were truly lost!

Just as everyone was feeling a bit discouraged, Fox felt around the very bottom of his toolkit and pulled out a dark, heavy stone. "Oh, this is that strange stone I picked up by the river last time. It always sticks to my little iron buckle." Fox placed the stone in his palm. Suddenly, he noticed something odd: no matter how he turned or moved, a little pointed corner on the stone always wobbled and pointed in the same direction!
