In a quiet forest, Suki the squirrel wanted to be a great ninja. But she was a bit clumsy. Her hood was crooked, and her sash was loose. Her friend Chip watched her practice. "You just need a real mission!" he chirped. Suki sighed. "A ninja needs to be sneaky and silent. I'm just... bouncy."

Just then, wise Mr. Whiskers scurried over, looking worried. "I've heard whispers!" he said. "Two rough characters are planning to sneak into the old hollow tree house tonight. They want to take things that aren't theirs!" Suki's eyes grew wide. This was it! Her chance to be a hero and protect her forest home.

As the moon rose, Suki crept toward the tree house. "Sneaky and silent," she whispered to herself. She saw a shiny, golden object on a shelf inside. It looked just like a perfect, giant acorn! "That must be what they want," she thought. "If I get it first, they'll have nothing to steal!"

Suki squeezed through a tiny window. PLOP! She landed right on a wobbly floorboard. SQUEAK! It groaned loudly. "Oh no!" she gasped. She tiptoed forward, but her fluffy tail brushed against a line of tin cans. CLANG! CLATTER! They crashed to the floor in a very un-ninja-like symphony.

Panicking, Suki leaped for the shelf. Her paw hit a rope, and a net swooshed down from the ceiling! She dodged it, but knocked over a broom. The broom handle tapped a bucket... which began to tip! Suki scrambled up the shelves, setting off every silly trap in the house.

Finally, she reached the shiny golden 'nut.' Just as her paws closed around it, the two sneaky raccoons peeked in the window. "Look! Someone's beating us to the treasure!" one hissed. They started to climb inside, looking very unkind.

In her silly panic, Suki squeezed the golden nut. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! RRRRING! It wasn't a nut at all—it was a loud, jingly alarm clock! The terrible noise filled the tree house. The raccoons froze, their eyes huge with surprise. "YIPE!" they yelped, tumbling back out the window. The awful noise had scared them away!

The forest animals, hearing the commotion, gathered outside. Suki climbed out, holding the now-silent clock. She hung her head. "I'm sorry. I set off all the traps. I'm not a sneaky ninja at all." But Mr. Whiskers smiled. "You were the bravest ninja of all!" he said. "Your wonderful clumsiness saved our home!"
